The Signature

Signature has been designed as a backdrop to Christison Park on Old South Head Road in Vaucluse. The building’s sweeping lines reflect the animation of the park, the busy street intersection with its cafes and shops, and the thrill of the nearby sea cliffs.

A sandstone base anchors the building on its corner site, accommodating a ground floor cafe and the residential entrance. White concrete frames define the balconies and living areas of the apartments above, while the rebated joint between each frame creates a finer degree of detail and scale.

The balustrades and roof edges of the top most floor peel back sharply from the main façade, and together with the building’s rounded corners contribute to a dynamic sense of movement.
