Resting amongst a tranquil and verdant streetscape in the heart of Vaucluse, the project seeks to integrate itself within a context identified by its proximity to Beach Paddock. Gesturing inwards, the house maintains a quiet balance between the privacy of the residents inside, and its connection to the neighbouring park through architectural motifs.
The house provides two storeys of residential living, with bedrooms located on the upper floor gazing outwards towards moments of beach and water. Spatially lavish, each bedroom and study is accompanied with its own ensuite, all with spectacular views. Below, a pool terrace mediates the living areas with the surrounding landscape. Here, generous ceiling heights invoke a heightened sense of space, maximising solar access, amenity, and functional flow.
A family home, the house was designed to consider the possibility of accommodating future generations. Multiple studies distribute themselves throughout the home, bifurcated into private retreat, and bedroom for the prospective grandchildren.
