Pindari

Located on a large, underutilized plot of land, the existing pitched roof single dwelling was dwarfed by the site and poorly oriented to the sun and views.

The aim of this project was to deliver a single family home that took full advantage of its location, maximizing internal areas, creating seamless transitions between interior and exterior spaces, and flooding living areas with natural light. The result was a modern homage to the multi generational home. With multiple entertaining and function rooms on a highly considered ground floor, four bedrooms each with its own en suite; as well as a large master bedroom located upstairs within a monolithic metallic box, designed to cantilever 4.5m over the entryway.

The garage door is seamlessly integrated with a timber batten façade, contrasting with the dark grey louvres of the upper floor and creating an elegant entry to the house.
